Tidligere har supergrupper fra det alternative rocklandskab som Monsters of Folk (Bright Eyes, My Morning Jacket, M. Ward), Them Crooked Vultures (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age) og The Dead Weather (The White Sripes, The Kills), for bare at nævne nogle stykker, nydt stor succes, og nu kommer det skotske bud på en følsom indiesupergruppe.
Mød The Fruit Tree Foundation, som består af Frightened Rabbits (billedet) frontmand Scott Hutchinson, The Twilight Sad-sangeren James Graham, Rod Jones fra Idlewild, The Delgados’ Emma Pollock samt andre skotske kunstnere som Alasdair Roberts, James Yorkston, Jill O’Sullivan, Karine Polwart og Jenny Reeve.
