All Quiet on the Western Front’ utvivlsomt styrket ind i Oscar-slutspurten.
‘All Quiet on the Western Front’s største konkurrent skulle i stedet findes i irske ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’, som mange spåede en hjemmebanefordel.
‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ hjemtog da også to birollepriser (Kerry Condon og Barry Keoghan), prisen for bedste originale manuskript og prisen for bedste britiske film.
