Harlow vandt fire statuetter, blandt andet blev ‘First Class’ kåret til Song of the Summer.
Prisuddelingens største vinder var dog Taylor Swift.
Swift vandt hovedprisen Video of the Year for den 15 minutter lange kortfilm, der blev lavet til den ti minutter lange genindspilning af ‘All Too Well’. Her spiller ‘Stranger Things’-stjernen Sadie Sink overfor ‘Maze Runner’-skuespilleren Dylan O’Brien.
‘All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)’ blev udgivet i forbindelse med Taylor Swifts genindspilning af ‘Red’-albummet (oprindeligt fra 2012), og musikvideoen vandt også priserne for Best Longform Video og Best Direction – videoen er instrueret af Swift selv.
