Du kender måske British Academy of Film and Televisions Award BAFTA for den hæder, de giver til film og tv et par uger inden Oscar-uddelingen. Men de uddeler også en spilpris og de nominerede til den er netop blevet offentliggjort – med en lidt overraskende frontløber.
Den 7. april løber BAFTA Games Awards af stablen. På nomineringerne ses det, at især et spil har gjort sig bemærket i 2015: ‘Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture’ er nemlig blevet nomineret i hele ti kategorier.
De ti kategorier, som spillet er blevet nomineret i, er Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Best Game, British Game, Game Innovation, Music, Original Property, Story og to i kategorien Performer. Med så mange nomineringer skal de to studier The Chinese Room og SCE Santa Monica Studio nok hive et par stykker hjem. Det bliver spændende at se hvilke.
Sidste år var ‘Alien: Isolation’ det mest nominerede spil med seks nomineringer, men i år slår både ‘Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture’ og ‘Her Story’ og ‘The Witcher 3’ denne præstation. ‘Her Story’ og ‘The Witcher’ ligger nemlig på en delt andenplads med hele syv nomineringer. ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’, ‘Life is Strange’ og ‘Rocket League’ ligger alle på en delt tredjeplads med fem nomineringer.
