I det mere overraskende hjørne vandt ‘Hacks’ over ‘The Bear’ i kategorien Bedste komedieserie, som kokkehittet dominerede sidste år. ‘The Bear’ gik dog ingenlunde tomhændet hjem.
Jodie Foster vandt desuden karrierens første Emmy for sin hovedrolle i ‘True Detective: Night Country’, mens Hollywood-kollegaerne Elizabeth Debicki og Billy Crudup modtog priser for deres biroller i henholdsvis ‘The Crown’ og ‘The Morning Show’.
