Den prestigefulde filmfestival i Venedig annoncerede i dag årets program, som bliver med dansk islæt i form af Anders Thomas Jensens nye film, ‘Den sidste viking’.
Den danske komedie er i yderst fornemt selskab. For årets program byder på nye film fra en række af verdens største instruktører.
Hovedkonkurrencen byder blandt andet på Guillermo Del Toros ‘Frankenstein’, Benny Safdies ‘The Smashing Machine’, Park Chan-Wooks ‘No Other Choice’, Noah Baumbachs ‘Jay Kelly’, Jim Jarmusch’ ‘Father Mother Sister Brother’, Yorgos Lanthimos’ ‘Bugonia’, Paolo Sorrentinos ‘La Grazia’, Kathryn Bigelows ‘A House Of Dynamite’ og Olivier Assayas’ ‘This Wizard Of The Kremlin’.
Og uden for konkurrence vises, foruden ‘Den sidste viking’, blandt andet Luca Guadagninos ‘After the Hunt’, Sofia Coppolas ‘Marc By Sofia’, Werner Herzogs ‘Ghost Elephants’, Gus Van Sants ‘Dead Man’s Wire’, Mamoru Hosodas ‘Hateshinaki Scarlet’ og Charlie Kaufmans kortfilm ‘How To Shoot A Ghost’.
Årets Venedig-festival løber af stablen fra 27. august til 6. september.
