Dansker, Anthony Hopkins og ‘Nomadland’ sejrer til årets BAFTA-prisshow – her er alle vinderne

Over weekenden løb årets BAFTA-show, det britiske svar på The Oscars, af stablen. Her fik Thomas Vinterbergs ‘Druk’ endnu et gedigent rygstød mod den amerikanske prisuddeling, da den danske film vandt for Bedste ikke-engelsksprogede film i et skarpt felt.

Aftenen bød også på en anden dansk sensation, idet ligeledes Oscar-nominerede Mikkel E.G. Nielsen modtog prisen for Bedste klipning på grund af sit arbejde på ‘Sound of Metal’.

Chloé Zhaos Venedig-vinder ‘Nomadland’ med Frances McDormand fik desuden cementeret sin favoritstatus i Oscar-feltet med sejre i de store kategorier Bedste film, Bedste instruktør og Bedste kvindelige hovedrolle samt Bedste fotografering.

Det britiske koryfæ Anthony Hopkins fik med sin præstation i ‘The Father’ statuetten for Bedste mandlige hovedrolle for næsen af blandt andre afdøde Chadwick Boseman, Riz Ahmed og Mads Mikkelsen. ‘The Father’ sejrede også i kategorien Bedste manuskript baseret på andet materiale.

Prisen for Bedste originale manuskript gik til Emerald Fennells arbejde på ‘Promising Young Woman’, der også blev kåret til årets Enestående britiske film.
