I går afslørede det amerikanske Recording Academy listen over nomineringerne til næste års Grammy-uddeling, der finder sted den 6. februar.
Med hele ni nomineringer var Beyoncé årets mest nominerede kunstner for ‘Renaissance‘ og særligt singlen ‘Break My Soul’. Samtidig slog Beyoncé sin mand Jay-Z’s tidligere rekord for flest Grammy-nomineringer nogensinde med hele 88 af slagsen.
Kendrick Lamar fulgte lige i hælene med otte nomineringer for ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers‘ og ‘The Heart Part 5’, der tilsammen har scoret nomineringer i de tre store kategorier Årets album, Årets sang og Årets indspilning.
Adele fik syv nomineringer for sit album ‘30‘, der også konkurrerer om Årets album, mens ‘Easy On Me’ landede nomineringer i kategorierne Årets indspilning, Årets sang og Årets poppræstation.
Nogle af de andre artister, der scorede adskillige nomineringer, var Brandi Carlile (syv), Harry Styles (seks), Lizzo (fem), Taylor Swift (fire) og ABBA (fire).
Grammy-uddelingen løber af stablen 6. februar efter en årrække med kontroverser. I år har The Weeknd og Drake undladt at indsende deres musik til prisuddelingen, da de fortsat boykotter Grammys.
