Natten til onsdag, dansk tid, landede de mange nomineringer til årets Emmy Awards, tv- og streaming-branchens største prisuddeling svarende til Oscar-showet.
I år dominerer de to giganter HBO og Apple top 5 over serierne med flest nomineringer, skriver Deadline.
Helt i top ligger Apples anden sæson af ‘Severance’, som har fået hele 27 nomineringer, herunder Bedste dramaserie, Bedste kvindelige hovedrolle (Britt Lower) og Bedste mandlige hovedrolle (Adam Scott).
På andenpladsen ligger HBO’s ‘The Batman’-spinoff ‘The Penguin’ med 24 nominger, herunder Bedste miniserie eller antologiserie og hovedrollekategorierne for Colin Farrell og Cristin Milioti.
Seth Rogens Hollywood-spiddende Apple-komedieserie ‘The Studio’ kommer desuden ind på en delt tredjeplads med HBO-hittet ‘The White Lotus’ sæson tre, begge med 23 nomineringer.
Femteflest nomineringer har HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’ sæson to (16), efterfulgt af ‘Andor’ sæson to (14), ‘Hacks’ sæson tre (14), Netflix-hittet ‘Adolescence’ (13), fjerde omgang ‘The Bear’ (13) og ‘The Pitt’ (13).
Blandt Emmy-debutanterne finder vi det unge ‘Adolescence’-stortalent Owen Copper, som ifølge Deadline er den yngste nogensinde i miniseriekategorien Bedste mandlige birolle.
Andre debutanter tæller Scott Glenn, Jason Isaacs og Aimee Lou Wood fra ‘The White Lotus’. De får selskab af to aldrende Hollywood-veteraner i form af Harrison Ford og Martin Scorsese, der ligeledes har modtaget karrierens første Emmy-nomineringer for deres roller i henholdsvis ‘Shrinking’ sæson to og ‘The Studio’.
Vi med danske briller kan i øvrigt glæde os over, at Janus Metz har fået karrierens første Emmy-nominering for sin instruktion af ‘Andor’-afsnittet ‘Who Are You?’.
